Most first-attempt failures and delays are not about health at all. They come from wrong details, an expired slip, a missing document or going to the wrong center. Get the process right and your medical has the smoothest possible path.
Mistakes that cause delays
- Details on the booking form that do not match the passport exactly (name spelling, passport number, nationality)
- An expired slip: your appointment slip is valid for 21 days, so check the expiry date before you travel
- Going to a center of your own choice instead of the center printed on your slip (the center is assigned, you cannot choose it)
- Missing documents, especially the original passport or CNIC copy
- Arriving late or on a Sunday, when centers are closed (centers work Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Details must match exactly
Enter your name and passport number exactly as printed on your passport, and keep your booking reference safe. If a detail is wrong, contact support before your visit instead of hoping the center will accept it.
After your test
FIT means you passed; the report is valid for 2 months, so continue with your visa and biometric steps. UNFIT means one or more results did not meet GCC criteria: discuss the reason with the examining center, complete any treatment, and read the UNFIT Re-Test Guide for the retest path. Referred means the center needs more tests or a specialist opinion before deciding: visit again as advised. Absent means the slip is closed and you must book a new appointment.
If your result is delayed
Normal reports take 4 to 5 business days and urgent reports within 24 hours. Check your result on the Medical Report Check page with your passport number or Wafid slip number, and never pay anyone who promises to change a result.
