How to Prepare for GAMCA Medical and Stay Fit

How to prepare for GAMCA medical: sleep, food, water, medicines and documents to carry, so you arrive fit for your GCC medical test.

Preparing for your GAMCA medical is mostly about arriving rested, hydrated and organised. The test itself checks your general health against GCC criteria at an approved center. Good preparation will not change a genuine medical finding, but it helps you avoid delays caused by tiredness, missing papers or simple mistakes.

Before your test day

Sleep well the night before, eat normally and drink water through the day. Avoid alcohol and smoking before the test, and avoid a very heavy meal right before you leave. Light movement, such as a short walk, is fine. If you feel unwell on the day, contact support before travelling to the center.

Medicines and health conditions

Take your regular medicines exactly as your doctor prescribed. Tell the examining center about any ongoing treatment, and carry your prescriptions with you. Never hide a health condition: the center records what it finds, and an undisclosed condition found during screening causes more trouble than an honestly declared one. If you have a health condition, discuss it with your doctor before your test day.

What to carry

  • Original passport used for the appointment
  • Original CNIC and a copy
  • Your Wafid appointment slip (printed or saved on your phone)
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Visa paper, if it applies to your case (attested visa is required only for Kuwait medical)

Read the full checklist on the Required Documents page before you leave.

On the day

Go only to the center printed on your slip, and arrive on time. Follow the center staff instructions for each test, and keep your slip safe until your report is ready. Your report is normally valid for 2 months after a FIT result.

A note on results

This guide gives general preparation tips, not medical advice. A FIT result means you passed the screening. UNFIT or Referred results are explained on the Medical Report Check page, and the retest path is covered in the UNFIT Re-Test Guide.
